(where applicable). A self powered siren, a minimum of two engine immobilization
circuits, and random coding remote control handsets, panic button, anti scan, and
anti grab. Some insurance companies offer a discounted premium and excess charge
for the extra protection on the vehicle.
Category Two: (Insurance Approved)
Electric Immobiliser: A minimum of two engine immobilization circuits, passive arming,
anti scan, anti grab, and random coding.
Category Two to Category One Upgrade: (Insurance Approved)
A system for a vehicle that is already fitted with an Immobiliser This system upgrades
security to a full category one alarm equivalent.
