How It Works
A radar signal is tapered in shape similar to a torch beam. At 200 yards the operating
range of a radars gun signal, is as wide as a duel carriageway. Most of the signal
travels past the target rebounding off other vehicles, trees, house's etc becoming
radar scatter.
Radar/Laser detection systems are extremely sensitive radio receivers tuned
to these frequencies, and can detect very small particles of radar scatter at up
to two miles away. When radar scatter is picked up the Radar/Laser detection system
will let off a series of beeps which will become more frequent the closer you get
to the source of the radar scatter.
The system can be pluged into the cigarette lighter and is dash or window mounted.
