you are connected to a Smartnav Personal Assistant, who will enter details of your
destination into a central computer, and in just a few seconds, the route is sent
to your vehicle.
Your route is calculated incorporating live traffic and incident updates. The route
is then downloaded digitaly to your Smartnav unit, which provides you with clear,
turn by turn, voice instructions.
In addition to UK residential and business addresses, you can also have the personal
assistent get directions for the nearest cash machine, hotel, petrol station, shop
etc 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In the event of a breakdown or emergancy, the personal assistant can pinpoint your
exact location and call the appropriate breackdown or emergancy service for you.

The RAC Trackstar Option
Thieves attempt to steal around 2,500 cars a day. Of these more than half are never
recovered, or are to badly damaged to be returned. RAC Trackstar provides you with
round the clock protection should your vehicle be stolen. A dedicated Smartnav assistant
will activate the tracking system, and will then work closely with local police
to locate the stolen vehicle, and will provide you with regular updates of the vehicles
whereabouts and movements.
The Safe Speed Option
Whether driving to an unfamiliar destination or a frequent journey, it is easy to
become preoccupied by other events and lose concentration momentarily. This could
result in you breaking the law and recieving a fixed penalty speeding fine. The
safe speed option alerts you when you approach zones monitored by fixed speed cameras,
variable safety cameras and multi camera detectors.
